      Question regarding "ban"

      Was autobanned on a server for bhop detection because my friend used my account and said he is smac ip banned.
      However when i quick check with my steam id it says i am not banned.
      Does this mean that the server lied and he is infact ip banned from the server or is this an error on the smaccheck?
      Would like to know because i dont want a new account to be autobanned after buying css again.

      Q: Is the ban process save ?

      A: The ban process is as save as SMAC is. If there is a false positive people have the option to protest a ban at our forums.
      We do not transfer all bans (such as Bunnyhop and co).

      A SMAC Ip Ban is also only a Serversided Ban ( Only on the specific Gameserver ) which is not transferred.
      If you are banned by SMACBans you get an ingame message which is clearly from us.
