    I joined the server
    [DELETED BY ADMIN]
    and get an instant ban because of "SMAC 0.8.6.0: ConVar fog_enable violation"
    I never cheated or anything like that and maybe it's because of my config that i use offline against bots to throw unlimited nades and stuff like that. It's not an external tool and just normal config stuff that i put in the autoexec.
    I don't have any VAC or gameban and i already try to clear that with the server owner but he just say i should ask here.

    It disables fog on the client... which I guess would help them see better on maps with fog. It requires sv_cheats, so the client must have overridden the setting to modify it.


    It needs sv_cheats 1 so a 3rd Party must have tried to ovveride the command.
    We will take a closer look at the issue.

    And you are 100% sure that you never used a 3rd Party plugin which can cause a ban.
    The configs seems legit to me. Since sv_cheats is 0 on the server the client has to obey.
    There must be something else ... hmm ... just what ??

    I'm 100% sure and i never had problems on other servers that use SMAC except this one. Maybe they configure it different so it's cause a false positive if you use a specific config setting.
